This policy explains what information Worship Piano Academy LLC ("we", "us") collects when you visit worshippianoacademy.com, buy a course, join our email list or use the Worship Piano Lab, and what we do with it.
Courses bought on Udemy are sold by Udemy, and Udemy's privacy policy covers those purchases, not this one.
1. WHAT WE COLLECT
- Information you give us: your name, email address and, if you enter it, your phone number. We use a phone number only to reply to you; we do not send text messages. When you buy, you also give billing details (such as your billing address) to our checkout.
- Payment information: card and PayPal details are entered directly with our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Lab progress: if you choose to sign in to the Worship Piano Lab, we save your lesson progress so it is there next time.
- How you use our website: pages visited, how you found us, your general location (country or city), device and browser type, and your IP address. This is collected with cookies and similar tools (see section 4).
2. WHO HELPS US RUN THINGS
We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- ThriveCart: our checkout. It processes orders and gives you access to your course.
- ThrivePay (ThriveCart's card processor, which runs on Stripe) and Stripe: process card payments.
- PayPal: processes PayPal payments.
- ClassWallet: processes payments from Arizona ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) families.
- Squarespace: hosts our website and sends our emails (Squarespace Email Campaigns).
- Google Analytics: shows us how visitors use our website.
- YouTube: if a page shows a YouTube video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies when you play it.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy.
We also share information if the law requires it, or to handle a payment dispute or fraud. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context advertising.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To process your order and give you access to what you bought.
- To answer your questions and give support.
- To send you emails about lessons, new songs and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
- To prevent fraud and meet legal requirements.
4. COOKIES
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to remember your settings and count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site still works, but some features may not.
5. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
- Order and payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually up to 7 years).
- Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you.
- Lab progress: while your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Messages you send us (contact form or email): as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
- Website analytics: kept by Google Analytics for no more than 14 months.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you and send you a copy,
- correct it,
- delete it (we may need to keep order records the law requires),
- stop sending you marketing emails.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another place with privacy laws, you may have more rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Our students live in many countries, and some of the companies listed in section 2 may store your information in the United States or other countries.

7. SECURITY
We use trusted providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee it.
8. CHILDREN
Our website and courses are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a parent buys a course for a child, the parent is the account holder; please don't give us the child's name or email. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. CHANGES
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
