What is the Major Scale Chord Progression?
Simply put, the major scale chord progression is a combination of major, minor and slash chords that follow the major scale. Let’s look at the C Major Scale:

Once you know the major scale, you can apply major, minor and slash chords to follow the scale.
I would guess around 90% of CCM worship songs follow this major scale chord progression, so once you know it, you’re halfway there!

Below is the patten your left hand will play while your right hand is playing the chords. Your left hand will start on the bottom note of the chord and walk up the pattern. Let’s look at the left hand pattern in the key of C:
